Living It All 4 HIM!

I am a princess. My father is a king!
Purity is a crown that I wear proudly!
I have denied myself.
I have taken up my cross.
Now I am following him!

Quote #2: Jesus has a lot of fans these days. Fans who cheer for him when things are going well, but who walk away when it’s a difficult season. Fans who sit safely in the stands cheering, but they know nothing of the sacrifice and pain of the field. Fans of Jesus who know all about him, but they don’t know him.

But Jesus was never interested in having fans. When he defines what kind of relationship he wants, ‘enthusiastic admire’ isn’t an option. My concern is many of our churches in American have gone from sanctuaries to becoming stadiums. Every weeks all the fans come to the stadium where they cheer for Jesus but have no interest in truly following him.

Imagine if people you meet walk away feeling “wow, there’s something special about you”?
Jesus Christ in you
Quote #1: Eventually every healthy relationship reaches a point when the D.T.R (define the relationship) talk is needed. It’s time to define this relationship that you have with Jesus. He wants to know how you feel about him. Is your relationship with Jesus exclusive? Is it just a casual weekend thing or has it moved past that? How would your relationship with Jesus be defined? what exactly is your level of commitment?

You want my heart?! seek Jesus because He has it <3!!

Watch THIS!

My favorite lines:
1.”So men, grow up! Put down the controller, how about you lead her with grace instead of trying to control her.
2.”So for the singles, become friends first before you ever become lovers. Pursue Jesus as your foundation, before you get under the cover.”
3.”A strong friendship before marriage will make a good marriage after.”
4.”Marriage isn’t just sex, it is conversation and laughter.”
5.”You might share a checkbook or a house, but are you actually friends?”
6.”If marriage isn’t a commitment, then what is the point of the vows we say?”
7.”Till death do us part, really means till the feeling goes away.”
8.”It is not the love that sustains the promise, it is the promise that sustains the love.”
9.”When you trust in me, you no longer have to hide.”
10.”You are spotless, you’re blameless, there’s no sin in you.”
All of it basically haha!

I refuse….
To sit around and wait for someone else
To do what God has called me to do myself
Oh, I could choose
Not to move but I refuse

To stand and watch the weary and lost
Cry out for help
I refuse to turn my back
And try and act like all is well

I refuse to stay unchanged
To wait another day, to die to myself
I refuse to make one more excuse

‘Cause I don’t want to live like I don’t care
I don’t want to say another empty prayer
Oh, I refuse

I refuse - Josh Wilson

True that!

Let’s pray for THIS guys!

This is quite beautiful.

Jesus’ call to commitment is clear: He wants all or nothing. the thought of a person calling himself a “christian” without being a devoted follower of Christ is absurd.
Crazy Love Chapter 5 by Francis Chan

After my trip to Haiti, I started dating a really great guy. Our relationship didn’t last long because I think we have different priorities in our lives at the moment , and we would have been fools to prolong the relationship any further.

  1. He was very intelligent, good looking, and fun to be around. BUT he didn’t like Jesus. I LOVE Jesus! This is huge for me. I always see myself with a guy who can help me grow closer to Jesus. A guy I can pray with. A guy who will pick me up on Sunday morning to go to church. A guy who will read the bible with me. I couldn’t do any of the above with him.
  2. I am very compassionate about the less fortunate, and money to me is nothing, literally. I want to live a very simple life. I want to do missionary work. I want to use my background and life story to raise funds for nonprofit organization. I have always told myself that when God will bless me with a lot more money than necessary, most of it is going to the less fortunate. Money is very important to him and he wasn’t planning to share any with the poor as much as I wanted and will want to later on in life.
  3. We both would like to travel, but I want to travel and do missions in the third world countries and he would like to visit all the beautiful countries and have houses in many of them.
  4. And the list goes on and on!

It was very hard for us to be in a relationship with each other when we know that we had different lifestyles and different values and goals. It hurts a whole awful lot to not have him around because I liked him so much, and I still care about him. But, I prayed and God answered my prayers. With time and with Jesus’help, I should be healed. Until then I am enjoying my life loving God, caring for the poor, and pursuing my goals and dreams :)
